Chad Dawson was born and raised in New Orleans where he began his dance training at NOCCA, an arts conservatory high school. He graduated cum laude with a BFA from the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase. Living in SF since 2008, Chad has worked with Margaret Jenkins Dance Company, Stephen Pelton Dance Theatre, Christy Funsch, Gretchen Garnett and Dancers, Erika Chong Shuch, RAWdance, Mark Foehringer Dance Project SF, and Nol Simonse, among others. Chad is pleased as punch to be part of little seismic dance company! 



Janet Das is a dancer, choreographer and teacher.  She currently dances for Katie Faulkner's little seismic dance company, Gerald Casel Dance, Deborah Karp and Dancers and several other independent choreographers.  Janet was a member of AXIS Dance Company from 2008-2011 where she performed in the works of David Dorfman, Joe Goode, Kate Weare, Shinichi Iova-Koga and others.  In addition to making her own contemporary dance works she also choreographs for professionals and students.  She has also choreographed for plays and musicals including assistant choreographer for Shotgun Players' 'Assassins' and most recently Youth Musical Theater Company's original new musical 'Don't Stop Me'.



Peiling Kao is a Taiwanese choreographer, teacher, and freelance dancer for 18 years. Since moving to the Bay Area in 2007, she has been performing for and collaborating with the Bay Area choreographers and musicians. She has received an E.L Wiegand Foundation Award for excellence in performance and choreography, awarded Isadora Duncan Dance Awards in category of Outstanding Achievement in Performance, nominated for Izzies’s Outstanding Achievement in Visual Design, and was selected for Artist in Residency (AIR) at Shawl-Anderson Dance Center. Peiling has taught Modern dance technique, movement improvisation and Taiwanese/Chinese folk dance dance as a visiting faculty and guest artist at Mills College, Western Washington University, Austin Peay State University, University of San Francisco, California State University East Bay, Shawl-Anderson Dance Center, Taiwanese American Center, and Chinese American International School. She is currently on faculty at Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA program at Dominican University of California and RoCo Dance. Peiling’s work has been presented in Taipei, Oakland (CA), San Francisco (CA), Clarksville (TN) and London.



Daiane Lopes da Silva is a dancer, choreographer and the artistic director of Kinetech Arts. Her work has been performed in Brazil, France, Belgium and the U.S.A. In Portugal, she worked with Lisbon Dance Company, Almada dance Company and DançArte. In the Bay Area, Daiane performed with Labayen Dance, KUNST-STOFF Dance Company, Robert Moses’ Kin, among others. Her residencies include R.A.D., R.A.W., and Marin Headlands Center for the Arts. Daiane studied with full scholarship at the Escola Municipal de Bailados de São Paulo and P.A.R.T.S. (Performing Arts Research and Training Studios), directed by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker in Brussels. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology, Alpha Beta Kappa, from SFSU.



Tara McArthur is a dance artist based in Northern California. She holds a BFA in dance from California State University Long Beach, where she then went on to dance with the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company in Salt Lake City, UT. While in RWDC, she had the opportunity of performing original roles by Charlotte Boye-Christensen, Daniel Charon, Johannes Weiland, and a diverse repertory from choreographers including Bill T. Jones, Susan Marshall, John Jasperse, Doug Varone, Alicia Sanchez, Alwin Nikolais and many others. She was awarded a Salt Lake City Arty Award for her performance contributions to the company, and was also featured in an improvisational dance work/film as part of the Do It Exhibition at the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art. Tara currently dances with Keith Johnson/Dancers (LA) and NOW International Dance (SLC) and is thrilled and honored to be a part of Little Seismic Dance Company.



Suzette Sagisi began her dance training in her hometown of Santa Maria. She has performed on TV shows, such as MTV's Made and America's Best Dance Crew, and has worked with James Alsop, Tabitha & Napoleon D’umo, Brice Mousset, Sean Kingston, Fabolous, and Beyoncé. Since moving to San Francisco, she has had the honor of dancing with EmSpace Dance, Funkanometry SF, Kara Davis and Bliss Kohlmyer's project agora, Katharine Hawthorne, and Zhukov Dance Theatre. Suzette holds a bachelor’s degree  from UCLA and a master's degree from Tufts University, both in Philosophy.
